The biggest challenge our family found last year during our 14 months of living without a car was time and therefore time management. Like a slap in the face on day one we wouldn’t just be able to go hop in the car and go somewhere on a whim. We would have to plan. Time management is as much about what we DON’T do as it is about what we DO do. Carlessness is stressful because it takes away the privilege of transportation spontaneity.
